The rain held off for Mariah and Seth’s warm but dreary fall wedding in Plover, WI
When two great families come together for a wedding like this it’s nothing but smiles and laughter all day! Hair appointments running late and the skies threatening to drop rain doesn’t put a damper on anything. When I got to Mariah’s parents’ house to start with details and say hi to all the girls, the first thing I did was go see the dress. Oh my goodness! The lace details, the train all laid out, it was stunning. And I knew there were gonna be tears from Mom when it was on Mariah. I was not wrong!
The ceremony at St Mary Mt. Carmel was gorgeous. It’s a good thing that church is huge because these two had a huge crowd of family and friends celebrating with them. The full catholic service was sweet and meaningful. Maid of Honor Macie worked overtime making sure the train was laid out just right. All 8 grandparents watched with full hearts as these two pledged their lives to each other and God. Yes, all 8!
Off to the farm!
Bridal party photos at the farm were so fun! The girls all looked amazing in their cinnamon color dress and flowers from Bonnie’s Bloomers. We were there about a year ago for engagement photos and thank the Lord it was a lot warmer on Saturday than it was that time! It’s a young group and they were ready to party so I made sure we got them to the reception in good time. That was of course after some gorgeous photos of Mariah and Seth! Leaving the farm, the road was a little cloudy since the air was filled with the evidence of burnouts from a few of the groomsmen. This is an all out country crew!
Dinner was delicious and I hear the beer was cold. When it was time for speeches I knew there were going to be tears and laughs. Both Mariah and Seth have families that are just great people. The evidence of that in the toasts was incredible. They will forever be supported by their family and friends who were all there to celebrate with them. And celebrate they did! When the music started, that dance floor was packed!
