Hannah and Connor had a beautiful May wedding at Mystic Ponds Estate near Junction City, WI.
The air was filled with cottonwood pollen when I arrived at Mystic Ponds Estate on Saturday. I had only shot there once before and it was years ago when the barn was red. But I knew it was going to be a wonderful day for Hannah and Connor at this beautiful venue.
Hannah was so relaxed and ready for this day! After details and some getting ready candids, it was time to get Hannah in her dress. That’s one of my favorite parts of the day, when it all gets real! We gotta shout out Hannah’s mom Karen who was a pro with the buttons. Never have I ever seen someone that quick at those loops. Over by the guys things were going really well too. They were all dressed up and looking dapper.
Ceremony Time…
Time to do this thing. Hannah’s dad walked her down the gravel aisle to her forever. The vows were just the right mix of sweet and fun. And the two families mixed glass that will be made into an ornament to be kept forever.
This bridal party was fun. They were up for being a little bit goofy and willing to play around. Both sides have their storytellers and the resulting speeches got quite a few laughs and I think some tears too. When the guests were finishing up dinner Hannah and Connor snuck out for some almost sunset photos. We were a little early on it so that they didn’t have to go out right after the first dance. A little picnicing by the lake with some chocolate and champagne was just the quiet time that was need before the party kicked off.
And it certainly kicked off with a bang. The DJ shot some coldsparks during the first dance which was a fun upbeat number. The party was getting real good by the time I left and the shuttle bus was waiting patiently for riders.
Were you a guest?
If you were a guest at this wedding, or in the wedding party, and forgot to grab a card or snap the QR code, you can still request your guest gallery here! Once I deliver all the photos to the bride and groom, I’ll send you a link to the guest gallery. It will include the parts of the day guests were present and the blog photos. It’ll be a few weeks, but worth the wait!
