Tashiana and Jake’s wedding at Hidden Treasures and reception at Bear Lake.
September weekends have thrown about every type of weather out there this year and Tashiana and Jake’s wedding weekend was no exception. Saturday gave us a cool cloudy day like we haven’t seen in awhile. Hidden Treasures was closed up a little tighter and a good portion of Tashiana and Jake’s guests kept their sweaters on. Before they all got there though the girls were hanging out in the bridal suite all toasty warm with the heater going. The girls were ahead of schedule and the guys were in the groom garage killing it on getting ready. They went with a cigar in the pocket instead of a boutonnière so that helps a lot! Tashiana and Jake did not want to do a first look but they did want to exchange notes. I don’t know what was written but the tears started flowing so it must have been good.
Party time….
If you were there, you know. This was a big party from the start! Tashiana and Jake even bypassed a more traditional unity event like lighting a candle or braiding the ropes. Instead, they each took a unity shot of Jezynowka. The party started for all shortly after and moved to the reception.
Bear Lake does a great job with feeding a big group, even when it’s around 350 people! There was plenty of time for mingling and enjoying the outdoor area (the rain had come and gone while everyone ate). The staff busted down the tables in no time and the dance began. I’m sure it went on well into the night!
