A spring engagement session in Clintonville, Wisconsin.
I’ve been excited for this engagement session and the upcoming wedding since I got Cassy’s email that she’s getting married! I met Cassy a few years ago when I took her daughter’s senior pictures and she was one of those moms that was so much fun the whole time. In their engagement questionnaire she said she’s “a little bit hippie, a little bit glam” and I think that is spot on. I was also excited to meet Nate and see who this fella was that made her obviously giddy when typing:)
This story is great! A few short months after they started dating Covid was shutting things down. They decided to combine the families and take on the craziness of navigating all the changes together under the same roof. Almost a year later their own Brady Bunch family was doing well, they casually started talking about wedding what if’s and realized they should pick a date. Then they emailed me. Then they went ring shopping.
Oh my gosh, you gotta see this ring!
Nate is the perfect balance for Cassy. He’s a laid back mechanic that figures out how to make the things work, whether it’s a motor or one of Cassy’s ideas. He had never had professional photos done and he wasn’t nervous or awkward at all! We went to Cassy’s dad’s place which is where they will be getting married. It was gorgeous on Friday and it’ll be gorgeous in August for their art deco themed wedding. I’m not going to share the rest of the fun plans with you now. You’ll have to check back in August!
Beautiful Cassy and Lucky Nate!
