Celebrating 50 years of marriage with Berrens Family Photos – all 22 members!
Jeff and Jackie have been married for 50 years! First and foremost let’s pause for applause on that one! The last whole family photo was about 8 years ago so it was definitely time for an update. I met with Jackie at her house to see if we should do the photo session there and discuss what we were doing with the images. Jackie and I talked wardrobe, budget, all the things that should go into planning the session.
The Berrens Family session…
As the day of the session approached, Jackie and were messaging back and forth about the forecast. In the end, the rain held off and we got a ton of great shots! I got all the combinations of Jeff and Jackie, their 4 kids and their spouses, and all 12 grandkids that we talked about, plus a few more for fun. It was so heart-warming to see all the Berrens family cousins hanging out and interacting at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.
The images…
After a session like this I go through all the images and pare it down to the ones that will be best for albums, wall art and any other use I’ve discussed with the client. Then Jackie, her daughter and grand-daughter came to the office and we got everything picked out. After some retouching and making sure that every image was perfect, I ordered the products from my professional lab. When the prints and album arrived, I delivered them in person. I love seeing my clients’ reactions to their images in print and I know Jackie loved seeing it ready to hang!
