Megan and Tyler’s sunrise engagement session Pfifner Park and Schmeekle Reserve in Stevens Point.
We may not have had a superb sunrise on this gloomy Saturday morning, but Megan’s shining smile made up for it! The rain had stopped by 6:00AM when we were set to start this session. Starting in the early morning meant there was time to chat a little and make a plan since we weren’t racing against the sun setting. It was still fairly dark when we started walking down the path at Pfifner Park talking over plans for the day and how the wet ground makes everything glow. The lights on the bridge were still shining and the ducks were out in full force. Makes me think I should really do more sunrise sessions…Anyway..
The little flower garden with the beautiful light stones and everything in full bloom was worth saving for outfit #2! The color Megan had on was perfect for being in a bunch of greenery and blooms. Tyler was really good at making her giggle and wrapping her up in his arms. It was so sweet and natural for them.
Even with the perfection of the garden, I’m so glad we did a second stop at Schmeekle Reserve. A few more shots of her gorgeous and unique ring while they were changing and we were ready to explore the trail a tiny bit. They were even willing to sit on the wet boardwalk and that might be my favorite sitting shot to date! One final wade into the wet grass and the session was complete. I absolutely love these and cannot wait for their wedding next year!!!
