What a great night for an engagement session! Katie and Tyler met me in Iola to start their session on sunny Friday evening. I hadn’t met them before but they are the type of people I felt so comfortable with right away. They hadn’t had more than quick phone photos before and this feels very different so it can be intimidating. It didn’t take long – like a few shots – to figure out that I could joke with them both easily. Tyler’s joking around made Katie just laugh at him and it was the most adorable thing ever!
We hung out around the mill in Iola for a bit while Brandy waited with her puppy patience in the truck. Then we headed to Jorgens where we could let the puppy run free. The glow of the night was incredible, I can’t even describe how much I love the images we got there. When we got around to pulling the truck into position Tyler was all about it! Leaving the window open just enough for Brandy to stick her head out was a real good move too. We ended with some simply stunning ring shots and finished up within the time Katie promised Tyler it would take.
I cannot wait for this wedding next year! It’s gonna be such a great group and I’m sure Katie will be stunning! Maybe even enough so for Tyler to forget about his truck. Maybe….
