Sofie and Evan had an adorable engagement session at a tiny little park and the docks in Fremont. It was a perfect way to kick off the summer!
A dreary morning turned into a gorgeous afternoon the day Sofie and Evan had their session! Our little unassuming spots we picked worked out beautifully for photos and I love them all!
Sofie and Evan are over on the west side of the state so we just had a phone call when we first chatted. I had no idea how cute they are together until they got out of the car for their engagement session. They look so good together and it doesn’t take much to know the personalities fit together pretty darn well too. They jumped right into being cuddly and sweet. When the silliness starts to come out I know a couple is having a good time and that’s what these are all about!
Walking around with Sofie and Evan has made me even more excited for their wedding day! We chatted about their families and the friend group, their house hunt and how I could never in million years do Sofie’s job. 3rd grade teacher by the way. Their venue looks like stunning, their people sound so fun, and Sofie and Evan have that vibe of a couple everyone loves and is rooting for.
I hope they enjoyed this little blip of time we spent together. I have to admit I’m always nervous going into an engagement session. All self conscious thoughts of course. What if they don’t like? What if I forget how to shoot or talk or be normal? Then we get along great and I go home and upload shots like these. I think them on the dock with the sun peaking behind the buildings are some of new favorites!
