Gabi and Tyler had their engagement session right back at the scene of the proposal, Whispering Pines Park! It was so pretty there and we lucked out with the perfect weather and a quiet dock. The water was such a beautiful teal and the leaves were just starting to hint that summer was ending. Gabi looked adorable in her sundress and Tyler didn’t even ask about wearing a hat… at this spot! I’m just picking, I’m totally good with hats.
Gabi was one of my seniors way back when I was just starting to figure some things out and I was so excited to have her in front of my camera again. The giggles and the nose crinkles are so fun and Tyler can bring those out of her with barely a whisper. These two were totally ready to just have some fun and snuggles. We spent a good part of their session at Whispering Pines enjoying the gorgeous night.
Then we went on down the road to the Veterans Home and holy cow, the sunset was stunning. Of course I get all excited about golden hour but this GH 2.0. Gabi was giggling at the mere mention of Tyler making her laugh and Tyler got to be comfy with a head covering once again. He was happy to do whatever for the shot and wrap his arms around his beautiful bride to be. They were dancing on the dock, climbing up the rock walls and strolling by the lake til the sun went down. I don’t know if they made it to Scooper’s afterward like was suggested but I sure hope they went home happy!
I’m so excited to see them again next year and photograph their wedding. Just look at them! It’s gonna be such a fun day!!!
