Ella’s flowery senior session at Barnwood Farms and Hartman Creek.

This senior session is proof that you don’t have to absolutely love the whole idea of having photos taken to have them turn out awesome! I don’t think Ella would mind me saying she was pretty much indifferent to the process of having senior photos done. Excitement isn’t the key, openness is. She was open to do whatever. The mindset of not being worried about how the shots would look is what allowed that to happen. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I do know Ella a little bit. She’s friends with my niece so my not being a complete stranger probably helped that too.

We started at Barnwood Farms which is such a great place! If you haven’t stopped out there, look them up and go get yourself a bouquet of fresh cut flowers. For a little session fee you can have photos taken there and cut a small bouquet to use and you get a vase for them too!

Can we just talk about how cute Ella is? I loved her style choices and the way it all pulled together. She made me jealous of the flexibility of youth when she jumped up on walls with no effort. Then had the carefree attitude to lay right down in the water for some great final shots. What a fun night! Most of the night was fairly cloudy but we got that little sun peek at the end which was amazing. I loved this session so much and I would imagine you will too!
