Bri and Jameson’s September wedding at Round Lake Farms, Brillion WI.
The wedding Bri and Jameson planned and expertly pulled off reminded me of why I started shooting weddings and why I love them so much. This day was incredible. Why was it so incredible you might ask? Was it the perfect weather, the beautiful venue, the to-die-for gelato? No, no, no. It was the people! As Bri’s dad said in his speech; every person there loves one or both of them so much that they came to a destination wedding — in Wisconsin. That’s right, not a single person who wasn’t paid to be there has a Wisconsin address.
Everything really did come together beautifully for them. The Air BnB the girls got ready at was really nice and surprisingly spacious. Hallelujah for the giant window light in the master with the dress in it. I could go on about how beautiful the dress was but you can see that for yourself. These girls though. They were bringing the bridesmaids vibes and were so awesome. I walked in and felt like part of the friend group immediately.
Time to say I do!
Off to church! Obviously this particular church in Stockbridge isn’t their home church. It felt like it though since Deacon Bob and his wife travelled all the way here as well. The service was a really nice mix of traditional and personal to them.
Off to Round Lake Farms. I had never been there and it is beautiful. The building itself is stunning and the interior is open and beautiful. Fall colors in the surrounding vegetation were just starting to show while the grass was still lush and green. The staff was great there as well. I would love to shoot there again!
When the wedding party got there we rolled right into some pictures. They had a blast with it! Even the guys were happy to get goofy and have fun. We did a short stint of photos with just our beautiful bride and groom then because we were maybe a tad behind. Besides, they had cocktail hour to get too and dinner was just about ready. And since they both looked amazing it didn’t take long to get great shots! Speeches were awesome and guest favors have now been ruined for me forever. I doubt any will live up to the handmade – by the father of the bride – cheese boards with a block of real Wisconsin cheese that went home with every household. How do you top that?
Party it up!!!
Can we just discuss the dance for a minute? Mainly the guests who were doing the dancing. First of all, best dressed guests of 2025 so far goes to Bri and Jameson. Most packed dance floor – also goes to Bri and Jameson! This group was here to par-tay. It was actually a bit of a challenge getting dancing shots because the floor was so crowded. It was so much fun. I hope nobody had to be up to early to catch flights the next day!
I could go on but it’s almost time to show you the shots. But first….
Were you a guest?
If you were a guest at this wedding, or in the wedding party, and forgot to grab a card or snap the QR code, you can still request your guest gallery here! Once I deliver all the photos to the bride and groom, I’ll send you a link to the guest gallery. It will include the parts of the day guests were present and the blog photos. It’ll be a few weeks, but worth the wait!
