Bri and Jameson had a snowy winter engagement session in Presque Isle, WI with snowmobiles and all!
Sometimes things just work out and for Bri and Jameson, it sure did. We were supposed to do this session almost two months ago but with flu bugs and who know what else going around it didn’t happen. When planning the session Bri had mentioned they were really hoping for snow and I don’t know if you all remember mid December in Central Wisconsin but that was hard to come by anyway. This time they were going up to the family cabin last weekend and the snow was plentiful. It was even actively snowing during the whole shoot! Plus it was birthday weekend for both of them so a great time to celebrate!
A snowy session…
I headed up north very happy to have put new tires on the mom van. This was the first time I got to meet Bri and Jameson and oh my are they the cutest! Bri’s heart of gold has led her to nursing and a career path in pediatric medicine and has allowed her to fall in love with a farmer. When he’s not busy on their little few thousand acres farm, Jameson is clearly spending his time just a lovin’ on Bri. I can’t even tell you guys how many times I heard whispered “I love you’s” while we were shooting.
As far the actual session, they were not only okay with being out in the snow. They were loving it. The whole session was just about having fun and goofing around together. Being able to throw snow balls, get completely covered in snow and enjoy the weather was so much fun.
After the nicer outfit had enough shots it was time to get the sleds out. I felt so lucky to shoot this! The pop of color and contrast against the frozen lake was so pretty. It felt like winter was worth it for once. When you look at these tell me, how do people pull off looking that good in snowmobile suits. It was ridiculous. They were up for anything and literally rolled around in the snow for me.
Bri and Jameson – I cannot wait for your wedding! I will not ask you to throw anything at each other or roll around on the ground that day, I promise. I’m sure glad you were willing to do it this time!
