Wedding Favorites of 2025

A collection of my favorite wedding photos and memories from 2025. Brought to you by Rachel Jensen Photography.

We’re three weeks into the new year already! Time to look back on some favorite wedding shots of 2025. I want to give a huge thank you to all of my couples, not only from 2025 but for the last 6 years. Shooting weddings is one of my greatest joys. I love being a part of someone’s best day yet. I love being the one to encourage, calm, and guide the pivots throughout the day. After 2026 I plan to limit weddings much more but it is certainly not because I don’t want to do them. It’s more of a three kids all in Saturday sports type of thing. Looking back through this year makes me a little sad for the upcoming cut back.

As for last year…

It was a great year. I met some of the most fun and interesting people. I had some small local weddings, some big ol’ parties, and even a Wisconsin destination wedding. Not a single guest there was from Wisconsin but they partied like they were! I was at some new to me venues this year that were beautiful. Round Lake Farms, Poplar Creek Barn, Brighton Acres – I loved you all. Of course I revisited some tried and true faves of mine at The Barn and Danes Hall. There were vendors I’ve worked with before and was so happy to see again. Honey Event Planning, that one’s for you! There were vendors I first met this year and I so hope I see them again soon. Lookin at you, The Knotted Cone!

I’m throwing out a few raspberry awards quick here too as every single wedding this year had something that stood out! Some of these should have tie breakers but I’m not that energetic in my writing.

Miranda and Mike – you guys definitely had the craziest weather to deal with! And the best timed down pours!

Gabi and Tyler – the decor was so stunning. It was almost as gorgeous as Gabi’s smile! Almost.

Taylor and Grant – the most down to earth couple! Plans change, roll with it and party on! Also, that dress was so perfect for you!

Kelly and Chad – the most fun extra vendor! The Old Fashioned Photo Bus was busy all night and they were such great people!

Bri and Seth – first power outage I’ve had an hour before a ceremony! You guys stayed so chill, you’re amazing. Also, the dirty soda bar and now I’m a frequent customer of the Skinny Mixes. Thank you for the introduction.

Halfway through…

Ericka and Jake – the most family centered couple all year. What an amazing group of people you have in your life!

Bri and Jameson – the most out of state guests. As in all of them. Double award for the best guest favors. Reader – you’ll have to check out their blog post to hear about it.

Olivia and Dawson – the most committed wedding party ever. Out in the rain, toting around umbrellas, trudging through wet grass, and ne’er a negative word spoken! You guys rocked it!

Jamie and Tyler – I could say something about dealing with a car alarm going off for a good chunk of your ceremony but I’m going with best entrance. Lassos and cowboy hats are real tough to beat!

Last but not least (I’m in order of dates here I think), Jo and Gunner – I’m calling out your super tough bridesmaids. Not only were they out in the cold in those dresses, but they were tough enough to at least believe in their hearts they could do a groom toss. You also get the award for the most people I knew at a wedding that I didn’t know you also knew. That makes sense right?
