A rainy day engagement session for Olivia and Dawson in the farm fields of Central Wisconsin.
When you know, you know. That’s pretty much how it’s going for Olivia and Dawson. So many couples these days are dating for a few years before they get engaged and then plan the wedding for a year or two down the road. Not these two. Although they did meet years ago in college, they didn’t start dating until last May. By March Dawson knew he was never going to let go of Olivia so he put a ring on it! And who wants to spend a year planning a wedding? Not them either so September it is!
With the wedding coming up quick and summer going all crazy as summer does, the engagement session really had to happen on the date we had picked. Since none of us earthlings control the weather, the rain also happened on that day. A little rain isn’t a problem for two people ready to tackle life together (or a photographer with weather-proof gear) so we played in the rain! So did the pups and they had a great time of it.
You all know I could go on and on about how I love shooting in fields and on farms. But what I really love is that being around Olivia and Dawson is instantly comfortable. They’re so genuine in their relationship that nothing seems impossible. And they’re so gosh darn cute together! I cannot wait for their wedding. I do hope it’s a little less wet but now we all have the confidence it’s going to be beautiful no matter what!
